About Warringtonfire High Wycombe
The High Wycombe facility specialises in product and materials testing and is UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 to undertake testing for fire resistance, smoke leakage, structural integrity and performance, acoustic testing of building components, mechanical testing of construction products (specialising in timber) and pre-completion air leakage and sound insulation testing of buildings.
Located just 35 miles west of London, we have been providing testing services to the construction industry for over 40 years.
Our Testing Services
Services provided by our team in High Wycombe include product and personnel certification schemes.
Our High Wycombe laboratory undertakes UKAS accredited fire resistance testing to British, European and International standards for a wide variety of passive fire protection products used in construction, including doorsets, door components, fire stopping products, glass and glazing systems and wall systems.
We can also devise fire test programmes for a range of bespoke projects in order to demonstrate fitness for purpose.
Stevenage
FIRA International is a UKAS-accredited laboratory to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 that carries out testing which simulates real-life use and foreseeable misuse for all types of furniture and related products for both the domestic and contract markets.
Our testing services include:
- Flammability and physical performance tests on fabrics, foams, mattresses and cushions (upholstery)
- Safety, strength and durability testing on finished products including seating, tables and storage furniture
- Performance tests on adhesives and boards
- Bespoke testing services
- Development of new test methods
- Assessment of instructions and flat pack assembly
- User trials
- Dimensional assessment against ergonomic Standards
